A BIG thank you – to all the children, parents, grandparents and staff members who came to our working bee on Saturday.
It was so nice to see everybody, children as well, working in the gardens to freshen up our grounds and prepare them for planting.
We also had painters and carpenters, building a new cubby house, new fences and painting existing ones.
The weather was also kind and waited for us to finish before bringing the rain.
We will have another one of these sometime in term 3, so if you missed this one you can hopefully join us then.
I would also like to mention Danielle and the PnF members who have stepped forward this year to help with internal PR, fundraising and developing that sense of community we all look for when coming to Village.
It’s lovely to see so many new faces, particularly coming from the younger end of the school.
