Masks, Meet the Graduates and congratulations Noah

Welcome to term 4 everyone. As the term progresses we will learn what options are open to us as regards events, practices etc.

Mask wearing

The school is implementing all the requirements as regards mandatory vaccinations and the children wearing masks indoors. As my email said, this is definitely not mandatory for the younger children and if there are any concerns with the older children please contact me.

Meet the graduates

One of the events we always hold in term four is a Meet the Graduates evening which has traditionally taken place in November after a Whole School Barbecue. At this stage, I’m not clear what we are able to do about that, but it may have to be a Zoom meeting like last year.

Congratulations Noah

But speaking of Graduates, we would like to congratulate Noah Barrett who was here a couple of years ago. (You might remember him as the leading chook, Chanticleer in our A Poultry Affair performance. He’s the one on the right). Noah has just been accepted into the John Monash School of Science after a very rigorous and comprehensive process during which he had to present his own resume, sit a myriad of maths and science tests and be interviewed by a panel. Out of a thousand applications they only chose 200, so well-done Noah!

Hope you have a great week and I’ll be in touch when more information comes to hand.

Tanya
